Coming out of a retreat has left me ... unraveled. The experience is so deeply personal that I am profoundly at a loss for words. Yes, I know, me, at a loss for words. I am silenced .... for now.
Therefore, I am quite lucky to have taken the image above. It probably relays my experience so much better than words can (I know, figure it out and comment, cool huh?).
And when I am at a loss for words, I always return to the Sutras. And no matter how I try, I still remain on the first four of the first chapter:
Atha yoga anushasanam
Yogash chitta vritti nirodhah
Tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam
Vritti sarupyam itaratra

Ah well, on to lighter things. The image above is my eye view in chetuari, this was our Boracay retreat in Villa Kaloo.

And above is what greets us every morning, sunrise.

Two photos above are our sunset chants and some quiet reflection time.

Three photos above are our getaways to the Shangri-La Boracay.

Above is beautiful Soraya, well, her feet. And below, is lovely Gela among others getting ready for a photo op.

Below is some of us retreat participants on the last full day with our teacher,
Govinda Kai.
